Rigorously undocumented

Contemporary photography at the Met. Card beside a smallish big photograph reads"...rigorously undocumented...." How does one undocument something? How is rigor applied? The artist apparently makes performances which are not recorded or documented. However rigorous the undocumentation, somebody spilled the beans. Thanks for nothing, Met Museum tag writer, now we all know about it .


It is a great title, though. Most of us have been more successful at rigorously undocumenting our artistic endeavors.
